We Need More Art
We Need More Art is a non-profit initiative designed to create an environment to help artists build careers as professional artists. Here are some of our ideas.
Rent a combination “Maker Space” and Retail Space where artists can come together to make and sell art
Create a road crew to set up the infrastructure at craft fairs and other places to sell art
Create website and online presence for each artist
Manage themed events and shows to both encourage the making of new art, as well as provide the community with consistent ways to buy art
Work with the local art museums and guilds to support their initiatives
Provide Business Coaching and infrastructure to help artists in areas where they may not excel, freeing them to only worry about producing art!
